Guest Lecture Saturday 31st August with Liz Cashmore and Jon Curnoe-Free

Join us for some inspiration from 10am to 3pm.

Both Liz and Jon have years of ceramic related experience. Several of you have commented that you would love to learn more about what motivates and inspires both ceramists to make the work that they do. Here is your chance to learn some of their techniques.

Both Liz and Jon will be showing slides or samples of previous work and demonstrating their techniques.

  Timetable- 

  • 10am to 11.00am liz Cashmore slides and talk
  • 11.00am to 11.15am Morning tea (Yes it’s a short break so maybe just the tea :-))
  • 11.15 to 12.15pm Jon Curnoe slides and talk
  • 12.15 to 1.00pm Lunch- “Pizza, Yes Pizza”  (the dept will supply toppings and bases however any extra toppings welcome)
  •  1.00pm Demonstrations in separate rooms. Participants split into groups and work with Liz and Jon for some hands on practice of  techniques.
  •  Finish before 4.00pm

All are welcome, friends, non students. And there is no charge, it is a free day.

 Featuring the work of five Ceramic Artists, graduating from the Northern Beaches TAFE College – Advanced Diploma – 2013.
