Each artist was invited to bring together a small group of works to form a collection. Collecting and arranging is often part of an artist’s process as it is reflective and playful way to experiment with form, colour, composition, materials and ideas.

The artists themselves have widely different approaches to the medium. It incorporates the traditional and contemporary, the functional and experimental. Each collection provides an insight into the versatility and expressiveness of clay.

The Chinaclay store will continue to stock and display over 30 ceramic artists from around Australia.
